Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Charmlings is developed and published as an independent iOS game. For privacy questions, contact support@charmlings.app.

2. Information the App stores on your device

The App stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device using standard iOS storage (such as UserDefaults). This may include:

• Run progress, scores, and related game state
• Tutorial completion status
• Audio settings (music and sound effects preferences)

This information stays on your device. We do not operate an account system, and the App does not upload your save data to our servers.

3. Information we do not collect

As of the date above, the App does not:

• Create user accounts or require a login
• Collect your name, email, or contact details inside the game
• Use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
• Request App Tracking Transparency / IDFA for cross-app tracking
• Access your contacts, photos, microphone, or location

4. Purchases (optional Tip Jar)

The App may offer optional tip-jar In-App Purchases. Payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password. Apple may provide us with limited purchase records (for example, that a product was purchased) as needed to fulfill the transaction under Apple’s terms.

Tips are voluntary and do not unlock additional game content.

5. Children

Charmlings is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because gameplay data is stored only on the device and we do not run an account system, there is no online profile for a child to create within the App.

6. Data retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you delete the App, reset the device, or clear the App’s data through iOS settings. Uninstalling Charmlings removes locally stored App data associated with it.

7. Third parties

Outside of Apple’s platforms (App Store distribution and In-App Purchase processing), we do not sell or share personal information collected through the App with third parties, because the App is not designed to send personal gameplay data to us.

Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
